Dr. Vincent Villa

Orthopedic surgeon and traumatology specialist

Born into a family of doctors, Dr. Vincent Villa was inspired from childhood by his father, a rheumatologist, whose devotion and humanity he admired. At a very young age, he was fascinated by the mechanics of the human body, dreaming of restoring movement and hope to those in need. At the age of twelve, orthopedic surgery became his calling, a vocation he would never question.

A 2007 graduate of Claude Bernard University in Lyon, Dr. Villa continued his distinguished career in Lyon hospitals, notably as Head of Clinic in Orthopedic Surgery at the Croix-Rousse Hospital, under the direction of Professor Philippe Neyret, his mentor. Concurrently, he worked at a FIFA center dedicated to elite athletes, where he developed his expertise in the management of complex knee injuries.

In 2014, Dr. Villa settled in Switzerland, on the shores of Lake Neuchâtel at the Providence Hospital. In 2018, he opened the Liv Ortho Osteo-Articular Center, which reflects an innovative and accessible approach to medicine.
Since 2020, he has also been practicing in the canton of Vaud.

A specialist in knee and hip surgery, Dr. Villa favors minimally invasive techniques for rapid and lasting recovery. A pioneer in robotic surgery, he believes that surgical precision contributes to quality results. While highly technically adept, Dr. Villa listens to his patients and collaborates closely with his colleagues during their training.
