Dr. Vesna Ilic
Specialist in radiology and nuclear medicine
After completing her medical studies at the University of Lausanne and obtaining her doctorate, Dr. Ilic specialized in nuclear medicine at the CHUV. She trained under the tutelage of Professors Angelica Bischof Delaloye and John Prior.
Fascinated by medical imaging, she pursued a second training in radiology at the Cantonal Hospital of Fribourg and at the CHUV.
These two specializations allow him to perform hybrid imaging examinations, namely PET-CT and SPECT-CT. These new technologies integrate the analysis of the anatomy and function of the organ being studied into a single examination. These high-performance examinations are essential for diagnostic investigations and monitoring treatments.
Dr. Ilic thus offers high-level, locally based medicine at the forefront of innovation, to improve clinical practice, the main beneficiary of which is the patient.
Dr. Ilic joined the Cecil Clinic in 2017 where she supervises the nuclear medicine department.
