Physician specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation

Sports and Exercise Medicine (SEMS)

Originally from Alsace, Dr. Guillaume Muff studied medicine at the University of Strasbourg. After obtaining his medical degree in 2010, he chose to specialize in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Strasbourg University Hospitals from 2010 to 2014. He focused early on the management of orthopedic pathologies and sports medicine, obtaining multiple university diplomas.

In 2015, he furthered his training with a postgraduate diploma in sports medicine, followed by a Master's degree from the Faculty of Sports Sciences. He practiced as a university physician and clinical head from 2014 to 2016, combining his clinical practice with research and teaching activities.

He joined the CHUV Orthopedic Hospital in 2016, where he worked in the physical medicine and sports medicine department. In parallel, he continued his training, notably in ultrasound of musculoskeletal pathologies, and obtained diplomas from the Swiss societies of sports medicine and ultrasonography.

Since 2021, Dr. Guillaume Muff has served as the supervising physician at the Centre Actif+ of the Clinique Bois-Cerf. His office is located within the Centre Actif+ premises, allowing for optimal collaboration with the clinic's therapists and physicians. He is also the referring physician for the Lausanne Hockey Club's professional team and the monitoring of elite junior players.
