Dr. PD Bérengère Rozier Aubry
Rheumatology specialist
Dr. Bérengère Rozier Aubry is a specialist in rheumatology, more specifically in the diagnosis and management of patients with inflammatory diseases affecting the musculoskeletal system, with bone diseases and with rare diseases.
Dr. Bérengère Rozier Aubry studied medicine at the faculties of Paris and Montpellier. She then specialized in rheumatology at the faculties of Lyon and Lausanne.
She was a clinical director for 4 years and then continued her career as a senior physician at CHUV for 10 years in the rheumatology and bone diseases department. During this experience, she developed clinical pathways for the treatment of patients with osteoporotic fractures, and patients suffering from rare bone and connective tissue diseases.
In September 2020, she opened a private practice in Lausanne, near the Bois-Cerf Clinic, to refocus her professional activity on the clinical care of patients. She continues to collaborate with the CHUV (Lausanne University Hospital), particularly in establishing national reference centers for the care of patients with rare bone and connective tissue diseases.
Drawing on her expertise in the multidisciplinary management of musculoskeletal disorders, she leads workshops at the Bois-Cerf Clinic for some of her patients, helping them rediscover the joy of movement through adapted activities. Furthermore, Dr. Bérengère Rozier Aubry participates in training courses offered by the Vaud League for Rheumatism, aimed at providing patients with the knowledge necessary to better manage their chronic illness.
In addition, she contributes to the continuing education of primary care physicians on the most frequently encountered rheumatological diseases and supervises medical students in their research work on rare diseases, which has been the subject of numerous publications.
With Dr. Eric Choudja, Vincent Chollet and Pierre Etienne Corthesy, she participates in the knee consultation, offered to accredited doctors who need a multidisciplinary look for a patient suffering from knee problems.
With Drs. Gioninta Papanikola and Elisabeth Stamm, she participates in the fracture pathway of the Bois Cerf and Cécil clinics for a complete evaluation of osteoporosis in a patient hospitalized for a fragility fracture.
