Shoulder surgery
An orthopedic surgeon specializing in the shoulder and elbow, Dr. Djahangiri studied medicine in Lausanne and specialized at the Balgrist University Hospital in Zurich. Dr. Djahangiri completed his training with a second sub-specialization in musculoskeletal traumatology at the Sacré Coeur University Hospital in Montreal. Upon his return, he was appointed senior physician in the orthopedics department at CHUV, where he participated in teaching surgeons in training. Active in research through his numerous publications, he participated in the development of implants for arthroscopic shoulder surgery and collaborated with the EPFL movement analysis laboratory. Since 2012, he has been based at the Bois-Cerf Clinic in Lausanne as an FHM specialist in orthopedic surgery and shoulder and elbow traumatology.
