Dr. Alec Cikes

Orthopedic surgeon and traumatology specialist

Shoulder surgery

Dr. Alec Cikes graduated from the University of Lausanne in 2001 after studying biology in the United States. He trained at the CHUV in Lausanne in orthopedic surgery and traumatology, during which time he completed two in-depth fellowships in shoulder surgery in Nice in the department of Professor Pascal Boilot and then in traumatology at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Montreal.

Dr. Cikes set up private practice in Lausanne in 2013 at the Synergie Medical Center, which he co-founded with Dr. Mathieu Hofer. Since then, he has collaborated with the Bois-Cerf Clinic, where he practices shoulder surgery and traumatology.

During his career, Dr. Alec Cikes has published several scientific articles in these two areas of expertise. He is also a regular speaker at international conferences.
Trauma led Dr. Cikes to carry out humanitarian work, notably with Doctors Without Borders, a humanitarian organization in which he is still active.
