We are pleased to present the key figures summarizing our performance and activities carried out in 2020. Indeed, despite the health crisis, Medicol was able to reorient its activities to a fully digital format in order to continue its mission of promoting the medical skills of its members and ensuring continuing education events for referring physicians.
To achieve this, we have committed our resources to offer a series of events and services on the internet aimed at the medical community and patients.
This new approach allows us to reach a wider geographical audience and enhance our image and that of our partner Hirslanden among medical professionals throughout French-speaking Switzerland. Indeed, the efforts undertaken in 2020 have paid off. We are now seeing six times more patient visits to our disease fact sheets and three times more visits to medicol.ch as a whole. It is clear that with over 400 referring physicians having completed our online training, this new format is a success and meets a significant demand from both patients and healthcare professionals.
